Small snapshots from our daily work

Taaleri: Website renewal

We created a brand renewal and a new WordPress website for Taaleri after the previous technical platform had become cumbersome from a content management perspective. As part of the renewal, the websites of Taaleri’s subsidiaries were consolidated under one unified platform, which brought interesting challenges to the information architecture: how do you present multiple business areas clearly without the navigation becoming overwhelming or the user getting lost in the overall structure?

The decision was made to bring the entire business offering under one clear umbrella, allowing all group operations to be found in a single, cohesive location. The website was also built using WordPress’s native tools to ensure smooth future updates without concerns related to the performance issues or security risks often introduced by third-party plugins. In addition, the latest versions of WordPress enable significantly more agile content management tools compared to earlier generations.

Working with Laine & Hallami on Taaleri’s website project was excellent. Our long-term partnership was reflected in a smooth workflow and open, straightforward communication, even in challenging situations. Their skilled team understood our business, listened carefully to our wishes, and took our feedback into account while also proactively suggesting thoughtful and well-founded solutions. Budgeting and cost tracking throughout the project were clear and well managed. Most importantly, the end result has worked extremely well and received a great deal of positive feedback.

Modules that make everyday content management easier

The modular library, built using native WordPress tools, allows entirely new pages to be created extremely quickly. The tools themselves will not slow down the website over time, nor are they dependent on third-party plugins that affect the visual layer of the site. Building a completely new page is done simply by stacking modules together, without requiring prior WordPress experience.

To increase layout flexibility, each module includes variations for different column behaviors, maximum widths, and font sizes. This also allows the site to remain visually dynamic, as editors can influence rhythm and visual hierarchy directly while updating pages, without touching code or technical settings.

The renewed Taaleri brand

The website renewal was developed hand in hand with the brand update we created for Taaleri. We designed a new visual concept, typography system, and color palette for the company, while also refining the tone of voice. The best results in website renewals are often achieved when brand renewal and website renewal happen simultaneously. This prevents fragmentation between the website and the brand, allowing both to evolve seamlessly as one cohesive whole.
